Option Radar — Frequently Asked Questions
What is the Option Radar?
Option Radar runs rule-based intraday option-buying strategies on live 15-minute NIFTY 50, Bank Nifty and Sensex candles. Each strategy shows its 20-day win rate so you can judge it on recorded results. It is an educational research tool, not investment advice.
When do Nifty, Bank Nifty and Sensex options expire?
Nifty 50 weekly options expire every Tuesday on the NSE. Sensex weekly options expire every Thursday on the BSE. Bank Nifty no longer has weekly contracts — since November 2024 it is monthly only, expiring on the last Tuesday of the month. If an expiry day is a holiday, it shifts to the previous trading day.
How often does the radar update?
The scans auto-update every 15 minutes during market hours (09:00–15:30 IST). The last computed signals are shown instantly on page load.
Are the win rates a guarantee of profit?
No. Win rates are historical and backtested over the last ~20 trading days and do not guarantee future results. Options trading carries a substantial risk of loss. NSEStocksChart is not SEBI-registered and nothing here is investment advice.
