Indian Stock Market Today: NSE Gainers, Nifty Flow Up

Indian stock market action on 2026-11-04 saw strong participation in select NSE names, with DCMFINSERV, INDRAMEDCO, and EUROPRATIK leading the 5-20% gainers list. Index derivatives data stayed constructive for Nifty 50 and Bank Nifty on option-flow readings, while radar probabilities showed a sharper bullish tilt in Nifty than in Bank Nifty.

NSE top gainers today: leaders in the 5-20% band

Today's standout NSE gainers in the 5-20% band were DCMFINSERV up 9.67% to close at 4.99, INDRAMEDCO up 9.24% at 339.35, and EUROPRATIK up 8.53% at 183.15. CAPACITE gained 7.45% to 162.2, while MAPMYINDIA advanced 6.82% to 909.0.

The broader list of strong movers also included NAVKARCORP up 6.59% to 81.86, CRAMC up 5.91% to 230.2, and DALMIASUG up 5.45% to 441.4. The spread of gains across multiple counters suggests stock-specific momentum remained active even as traders tracked index-level signals.

Nifty 50 option flow stays firmly positive

NIFTY 50 ended at 23960.6 with an option-flow score of 60, marked STRONG, and the direction reading was UP. The flow skew stood at 34.7%, which points to a constructive derivatives bias for the benchmark index.

Taken together, the score, direction, and skew indicate that options positioning favored upside conditions in Nifty 50 today. For traders using flow-based tools, this is typically read as confirmation that bullish participation was present in the index setup.

Bank Nifty also shows strong flow, but radar is mixed

BANK NIFTY closed at 55913.6, also carrying an option-flow score of 60 rated STRONG, with direction UP. Its flow skew came in at 30.6%, showing that index option activity remained supportive on balance.

However, the probability radar introduced a more nuanced view. While the option-flow reading was strong and positive, traders would note that Bank Nifty's radar probabilities were less cleanly bullish than Nifty's, suggesting the banking index may require more selective trade management.

What the radar probabilities imply for traders

For NIFTY 50, the radar showed P(+0.5% move) at 83% versus P(-0.5%) at 6%. That is a clear upside-leaning probability profile and aligns well with the strong UP option-flow signal.

For BANK NIFTY, the radar showed P(+0.5% move) at 57% versus P(-0.5%) at 88%. This creates a divergence between positive option flow and a heavier downside probability reading on the radar for a 0.5% move. In practical terms, Nifty looked cleaner on directional probabilities, while Bank Nifty signaled a higher need for caution despite strong flow.

Retail trader takeaway: combine momentum with confirmation

A useful lesson from today's data is that not all bullish signals carry the same quality. Nifty 50 had both strong option flow and favorable radar probabilities, whereas Bank Nifty had strong option flow but a conflicting probability setup.

For retail traders, this highlights the value of using multiple confirmations before taking directional exposure. A stock or index can show momentum, but when probability tools and flow tools diverge, position sizing, stop-loss discipline, and trade selection become more important than simply following one signal.
